Cards using leftovers from my Vertical Paper Bag Mini Album

Hi Friends!

Remember my Vertical Paper Bag Mini Album?  Well...I had some good-sized left-over pieces of the Country Woods and Floral Charms designer series papers and figured they would make some nice cards.  I paired them with a retired butterfly bundle - Sketched Butterflies.  

The layouts are al the same - two are portrait, and two are landscape.  It depended on the pattern direction of the Floral Charm scraps.

I used the new Lasting Linen stamp, from the November Online Exclusives, to stamp directly on these old paper doilies.  I just didn't want them to be stark white.

I watercolored all of the butterflies, using regular Basic White cardstock.  These butterflies are done with Berry Burst and Blackberry Bliss.  Greeting strips are ink blended with a little bit of Crumb Cake.

Paper Measurements:

• Early Espresso/Crumb Cake/Timid Tiger:  5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
• Basic White:  4" x 5 1/4", for inside of card
• Country Woods DSP:  4" x 4 1/2"
• Floral Charm DSP:  1 3/4" x 4"
• Basic White:  enough to stamp/die-cut butterflies and greeting bits

I used some Streaked Dots on the orange cards, and Antique Pearls on the purple cards.

Paper: Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Timid Tiger, Basic White, Floral Charm and Country Woods Designer series papers

Other: Double Oval punch, Timid Tiger Faux Linen ribbon, mini stapler, paper doilies, Streaked Dots, Antique Pearls
