Welcome to Week 3 of my 12 Weeks of Christmas Cards! I must say that I'm
For this week's batch of cards, I wanted to use the Gathering Moments stamps in a different way. Instead of "fall" leaves, I used a few different shades of green to make a Christmas Swag. Does anyone else remember these from the 80's? Instead of a wreath, it's a drape-y kind of half-circle flower arrangement. That's what I was going for.
My panel of designer series paper is 4" x 5 1/4", but the piece of Very Vanilla is 5 1/2" wide...I did that on purpose. If you don't like that, trim your Very Vanilla down to 5 1/4" wide.
I actually stamped the greeting first, so that I could see how much space I had left on that panel to stamp out my Christmas swag. I'm loving this Seasonal Tags stamp set for the greetings - I like overlapping the "christmas".
Start in the middle-ish with the Garden Green leaves, then I changed leaves and stamped in Mossy Meadow. Go back to the first leaf and stamp it in Old Olive on the ends.
Add some stamped-off dots from Itty Bitty Backgrounds.
Paper Measurements:
- Mossy Meadow: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
- Very Vanilla: 4" x 5 1/4", for inside of card
- Peaceful Gardens Designer Series Paper: 4" x 5 1/4"
- Very Vanilla: 2 1/2" x 5 1/2"
Finish with a Gold Shimmer ribbon bow, and some Antique Pearls.
