Snowy Days Online Card Class - Stamp-a-Stack

Welcome to my last 2024 Christmas Card class with a kit option!  This month, I'm featuring the Snowy Days Suite of products.  This is a Stamp-a-Stack class - meaning you'll make multiples of each card.  I've got four designs this month, and you'll make three of each.

You will need the Snowy Wonder Bundle to complete these cards as designed.  If you have something similarly shaped, that could work too.

Just a reminder that I am generally Live on-line every Thursday at 8:00pm ET.  I stream to BOTH YouTube and Facebook simultaneously.

If you are not able to catch me live, you can watch over on YouTube.  If the picture does not appear below, you can click HERE to get to it on YouTube.

Watch the class video for free, and use your own supplies to create your cards. OR - order a class packet with all of the card kits, envelopes, Pool Party pom pom ribbon, and Loose Snowflakes (US Only, sorry). You WILL NEED the Snowy Wonder bundle to stamp and die-cut things. For the first card, we're going to make an igloo out of the snow globe dies.  Also add some of that pom-pom ribbon to the greeting.  NOTE:  I forgot the ribbon step when I created the card in the video.  I figured it out by the FOURTH card and showed how to do it.  It's always something...

I used the Exposed Brick embossing folder to make my igloo...if you have the OLDER Stampin' Up Brick embossing folder, I think that might look better.

Paper Measurements:
  • Pool Party:  5 1/2" x 8 1/2", score at 4 1/4"
  • Basic White:  (2) 4" x 5 1/4", one for inside
  • Snowy Scenes DSP (snowflakes print):  3 13/16" x 5 1/16"
  • Basic White:  4 1/4" x 5 1/2", notched corner to stamp and die cut penguins and greeting
  • Basic White:  4 1/4" x 5 1/2", embossed with Exposed Brick folder.  You'll need to cut your igloo from this piece.
  • Basic White:  2" x 5 1/16", rip in half and ink blend edges to make snow banks.
The only thing I popped up is the penguin.  I did get him with the Clear Wink of Stella.  Add some of the Loose Snowflakes at the end.

Stamps:  Snowy Wonder Bundle
Ink:  Garden Green, Tuxedo Memento
Paper:  Pool Party, Basic White, Snowy Scenes Designer Series Paper
Other:  Exposed Brick embossing folder, Pool Party Pom Pom ribbon, Clear Wink of Stella brush, Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Blend

The second card is a SHAKER card, which I totally flubbed and had to re-cut some paper in the middle.  It happens!  The paper measurements here are what you'll need.  I plan to do another video off-line to re-make this particular card and will upload it to YouTube.  Hopefully I'll get to that later this week.

I added the Loose Snowflakes and some glitter to my shaker.  I love the glitter!

Paper Measurements:
  • Garden Green:  4 1/4" x 8 1/2", scored at 5 1/2"
  • Basic White:  (2) 4" x 5 1/4", one for inside of card
  • Snowy Scenes DSP (stripes print):  3 13/16" x 5 1/16"
  • Poppy Parade:  2 3/4" x 4 1/4", to die-cut snowglobe base
  • Acetate:  3" x 3 1/2"
  • Basic White:  3" x 3 1/2", to stamp the trees background for inside the shaker
  • Basic White:  4 1/4" x 5 1/2", notched corner to stamp and cut snowman and a tree
Emboss the greeting in white on the Poppy Parade and cut out with the dies.

Stamps: Snowy Wonder Bundle
Ink: Garden Green, Poppy Parade, Tuxedo Memento, Versamark
Paper:  Garden Green, Poppy Parade, Basic White, Snowy Scenes Designer Series Paper, Acetate
Other:  Basics embossing powders (White), Loose Snowflakes, Glitter

The third card features some non-traditional holiday card colors, which I absolutely LOVE!  Petal Pink and Calypso Coral.  These colors came right from the DSP.  I stamped snowflakes just around the outer border of the Petal Pink layer - since we're covering up the middle with the DSP pieces...no need to stamp in the middle.

Paper Measurements:
  • Petal Pink:  5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
  • Basic White:  4" x 5 1/4", for inside of card
  • Petal Pink:  4" x 5 1/4"
  • Snowy Scenes DSP (2 prints - plaid and snowflakes):  2" x 3"
  • Basic White:  2" x 3"
Everything is glued flat.  I had to add some snowflakes after the fact, because I had an ink spot from my fingers!  Covered it up.

Stamps:  Snowy Wonder Bundle
Ink:  Petal Pink, Calypso Coral
Paper:  Petal Pink, Basic White, Snowy Scenes designer Series Paper
Other:  Loose Snowflakes

Last card is a Faux Step Card.  This time, I made the "center" pop-up piece wider than normal.  It just gives more landscape to work with.  Looks more like a regular card until you stand it up.  I like it!

Stamp a few trees in the middle-ish area of the Mossy Meadow to make a forest.  Stamp some on the White Circle, and stamp two more and die-cut them.  Stamp and die-cut the cabin.

I also colored the Pool Party ribbon with the Mossy Meadow Dark Stampin' Blend marker.

Paper Measurements:
  • Pecan Pie:  4 1/4" x 9", scored at 1 1/4", 2 1/2", and 5 3/4"
  • Pecan Pie:  4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2"
  • Basic White:  3 3/4" x 5 1/4", for back to write-on
  • Mossy Meadow:  3 3/4" x 5 1/4"
  • Basic White:  2 1/2" circle
  • Pecan Pie:  3" x 4", embossed with Timber folder
Picture of it standing up - you can see the wood-embossed piece of Pecan Pie.

Stamps:  Snowy Wonder Bundle
Ink:  Mossy Meadow, Pecan Pie, Early Espresso
Paper:  Pecan Pie, Mossy Meadow, Basic White
Other:  Timber embossing folder, 2 1/2" Circle punch, Pool Party Pom-Pom ribbon, Mossy Meadow Dark Stampin' Blend, staperl
