Here it is Friday morning, and A) I need to get my butt in to work! and B) I'm posting LAST week's Craft Roulette challenge just in time for this week's new parameters which airs tonight.
Find Craft Roulette on YouTube @CraftRoulette and play along when you can!
Episode #172 parameters, and how I met them:
- Project: Circle. I made a wee tiny circle card. Took two 3" circle die cuts (plus layers) and made my card base.
- Colors: Wizard of Oz! I went with gold and yellow
- Element: On the Road. I've got my embossed Yellow brick road background.
- Random: Add Wings. My first thoughts were butterflies or ladybugs, but I forgot I had this Queen Bee!
I love how tiny this card is. Will I mail it?? Maybe. I will probably make a tiny square envelope to put it in, and then put that whole thing inside an A2 envelope.
Paper Measurements:
- Daffodil Delight: (2) 3" circles, cut with largest circle from Stylish Shapes dies
- Daffodil Delight and Basic White: approx 2 3/4" circle, cut with second largest circle from Stylish Shape dies.
- Daffodil Delight: scrap to stamp and die-cut bee and crown
- Basic White: tiny scrap to stamp and hand-cut sentiment
I embossed the smaller circle of Daffodil Delight with my new Exposed Brick embossing folder. Then rub/smear the Versamark ink pad over the raised up bits. I was trying to be random...not get a complete or even coverage. I wanted it splotchy. Emboss with gold sparkly embossing powder.
I added a few tiny gold pearls from the Festive Pearls pack.
Inside of my card. I stamped one little bee.
Supplies you'll need to create these (Stampin' Up, unless otherwise noted. Items may be retired.):
Stamps: Queen Bee
Ink: Versamark, Midnight (Catherine Pooler)
Paper: Daffodil Delight, Basic White
Other: Stylish Shapes dies, Exposed Brick embossing folder, Festive Pearls, Gilded embossing powder (Brutus Monroe)
Tune in to Craft Roulette tonight (Friday!) for NEW parameters!
Thanks for visiting, and Happy stamping!
