Bewitching Bundle - Fun projects!

Hi Friends!

Thursday night, I realized that I had never posted my Bewitching projects from Monday...so I started doing that before my video.  Problems ensued with blogger not letting me upload pictures, so I had to abandon that effort.  Doh!  It's working today, so here we go....

Just a reminder that I am generally Live on-line every Thursday at 8:00pm ET.  I am streaming to BOTH YouTube and Facebook simultaneously.   This past Monday's airing was a random pop-on.

If you are not able to catch me live, you can watch over on YouTube.  If the picture does not appear below, you can click HERE to get to it on YouTube.

My first project is a fun WOBBLER card!  I love wobbles!  I started this card off by gluing down some of the Glitter Washi.  It IS adhesive on the back, but I always like to glue down washi tape…I just don’t trust the stickiness of washi.

After I dolled up the White layer with the washi tape, I made the witch hat wobbler.  Stamp, cut and piece together the socks and shoes, and glue to the hat.  Apply Clear Wink of Stella LIBERALLY all over that hat.  Add the wobbler to the back of the hat, and glue down.

I did add a 1” circle of Basic White to glue the wobbler on to the washi tape.  I feel like nothing really sticks to sparkly paper, so I wanted to add that extra reinforcement and actual GLUE.

Paper measurements:
  • Highland Heather:  5 1/2” x 8 1/2”, scored and folded at 4 1/4”
  • Basic White:  4” x 5 1/4”, for inside of card
  • Basic White: 3 13/16” x 5 1/16”
  • Basic White and Basic Black:  scraps to punch hat, stamp/cut feet
Finished off with some Black stars from the Sep 2022 Paper Pumpkin kit, Spooky Treats.

Stamps:  Bewitching Bundle, Spooky Treats (Sep 2022 Paper Pumpkin)
Ink: Onxy (Versafine), Midnight (Catherine Pooler), Pumpkin Pie
Paper: Highland Heather, Basic Black, Basic White
Other:  Glitter Washi, Stars (from Sep 2022 Paper Pumpkin Kit), Clear Wink of Stella, Wobble (Amazon)

The next project is a custom size pizza box.  Making boxes is one of my favorite things to make!  I especially like the pizza box style, because it uses just one sheet of paper.  The key to figuring out the perfect size is to draw out the pattern first, then add in your numbers for how wide and deep you want it.

For this box, I wanted it to hold two Mini Moon Pies, so I measured the moon pies first and found that I needed a box that was 6” wide by 3” deep.  Measured how tall the mini moon pies are…1”, so that was my final number.  The video will explain this pattern, and how to assemble the pizza box.   Cardstock needed is 8” x 9”.

Here’s our finished product.  I used Rich Razzleberry for the box, then added a layer of Crushed Curry DSP from the Butterfly Kisses DSP pack.  Stamp the greeting from the Sep 2022 Paper Pumpkin kit in black, and punch with the Essential punch…can you see stamping words and using this punch to make tombstones?
Paper measurements:
  • Rich Razzleberry:  8” x 9”.  On 8” side, score at 1”, 7”.  On 9” side, score at 1”, 4”, 5”, 8”
  • Butterfly Kisses DSP (Crushed Curry print):  2 3/4” x 5 3/4”
  • Basic White:  scraps to stamp/cut witch hat and greeting

Box opened to show how two Mini Moon pies fit in here nicely.

I finished this box off with some Matte Black Dots

Stamps:  Bewitching Bundle, Spooky Treats (Sep 2022 Paper Pumpkin)
Ink: Onxy (Versafine), Rich Razzleberry
Paper: Rich Razzleberry, Basic White
Other:  Essential punch, Matte Black Dots, Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend marker, Clear Wink of Stella

The third project is something you can hang up - maybe at your desk, or your craft area, wherever you can see it and smile.  You can also skip the ribbon and add this entire thing to a card front - it will fit.  I started out with the largest die from the Deckled Rectangles, and cut a piece of Parakeet Party.

Then I cut a piece of Parakeet Party and added a piece of Adhesive Foam to the back.  Run that whole bit through with the Dots and Spots die.  Everyone watching the video live agreed that this still reminds them of cheese - just change it to yellow and add your favorite mouse stamp!

Stamp and color the witch hat, along with the greetings, and glue everything else down flat.

Paper measurements:
  • Parakeet Party:  4 1/4” x 5 1/2”, cut with largest Deckled Rectangle die
  • Parakeet Party:  3 1/2” x 4 13/16”, add Foam Adhesive to entire back side before cutting with Dots & Spots die
  • Basic White:  scraps to stamp/punch witch hats, greetings.
Finish with Black Glittered Organdy ribbon so you can hang it.

Stamps:  Bewitching Bundle, Biggest Wish, Sep 2022 Paper Pumpkin (Spooky Treats)
Ink:  Gorgeous Grape, Cajun Craze, Onyx (Versafine)
Paper:  Parakeet Party, Basic Black, Basic White
Other:  Deckled Rectangles dies, Dots & Spots die, Black Glittered Organdy, Stampin’ Blends (Highland Heather, Parakeet Party), Clear Wink of Stella

I hope this gives you some ideas for your own Witchy projects!
