Happy Tuesday Crafty Friends!
We've got a NEW sketch for May - Sketch Challenge 22. It's another Mini Slim Line card, which I really enjoy. These are definitely a smaller area to work with, but they also come together quickly.
I'm down to the last few scraps of this paper, which worked out perfectly for this sketch!
I did not follow the base card measurements exactly - and that's okay! A sketch is just a guideline! I make my Mini Slimlines 3" x 6", because I have envelopes that fit that size perfectly.
After I punched my circle of Evening Evergreen and embossed it, I gently swiped my Delicata Golden Glitz ink cube over top of the raised up bits...so the gold ink would catch there. It's subtle, but I like it.
I punched my Pine Tree out of Gold Foil, and then embossed that with my new Fern folder. That looks pretty cool...makes it look like a real tree.
Finish off with a bunch of Garden Gems. The Cherry Cobbler round gems from that pack go perfectly here.
Be sure to check out the BYSH Cardmakers blog for this month's sketch AND LOTS of other samples, and link to the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group.
