ToniStamps: March 2022 Online Class

Hi Crafty Friends!

Thanks for tuning in to this month's Online Class. The theme this month is "Waves", and we're making cards featuring the new Waves of Ocean designer series papers, jewels (you'll get a pack in your class kit!), and ANY sea life/underwater/oceanic stamps that you have. Seriously - anything will work!

You'll make (8) cards in this class, and you'll also get a BONUS project tutorial with the class packet. It's a separate video and tutorial WITHIN the PDF tutorial.

Here are the cards -

Class packet cost is $35.00 and includes shipping, and a pack of the Rhinestone Waves Basic Jewels.

This Registration form and payment submission are due by March 21, 2022. I will email you a link for payment, after your registration form has been accepted.

Class packets will be mailed out approximately March 30th.

Your March 2022 Online Class includes:
* Full class kit to make (8) cards, with envelopes. This is (8) different cards, no duplicates.
* One full pack of Rhinestone Waves Basic Jewels, to use on your projects.
* All materials for each card will be cut, scored, punched, embossed, and packaged in an envelope.
* A PDF tutorial, with pictures, full list of materials used, and step-by-step instructions will be provided. Don't forget - the videos will be available on Facebook and YouTube for everyone. The PDF is only for those who purchase the class packet.
* PDF tutorial will also include written and video instructions for a BONUS project. You will need your own materials if you'd like to make the bonus project. Link to the private video will be included in the tutorial.

Let's look at the video and cards from Day 1 of class -

I'm just going to give you the measurements for each card, and then list ALL of the stamps and colors that I used at the end.

First up is a Triple Time card. Instead of stamping all of the layers for the Triple Time Technique, I used the Waves of the Ocean designer series papers and cut them with the Stitched Rectangle dies. I used Friends are Like Seashells for this card. I also colored some of the Waves Rhinestones with a Calypso Coral Dark Stampin' Blends marker.

Paper measurements:

Calypso Coral: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored and folded in half at 4 1/4"
Petal Pink layers: 4" x 5 1/4", 2 3/4" x 4 1/8", 1 1/8" x 2 1/2"
Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4" (for inside of card)
Basic White: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2", for stamping and cutting out seashells

Second card uses the Diorama dies, with Whale Time. Greeting is from Happy & Heartfelt. Stamp some sealife directly on the piece of Waves designer papers.

Paper measurements:

Just Jade: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored and folded in half at 4 1/4"
Granny Apple Green: 4" x 5 1/4"
Coastal Cabana: 4" x 5 1/4"
Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4" (for inside of card)
Waves of the Ocean designer series paper: 3" x 4"
Basic White: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2", for stamping and cutting out seashells

Third card is pretty simple, but stunning. I cut a big goldfish out of Pumpkin Pie glimmer paper (sorry, it's retired, but I have PLENTY for class packets). Using some of the yellow/orange prints. Again, colored some of the lightest color Waves gems - this time with Cajun Craze Dark Stampin' Blend. It matches the Pumpkin Pie card base perfectly!

Paper measurements:

Pumpkin Pie: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored and folded in half at 4 1/4"
Daffodil Delight: 3 3/4" x 5"
Waves of the Ocean designer series paper: 3 5/8" x 4 7/8"
Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4" (for inside of card)
Pumpkin Pie Glimmer Paper: 3" x 3", cut with Seas dies
Basic White: scrap cut with Tasteful Labels dies, for greeting

Fourth card features one of the bolder prints of the Waves papers. I love it! It looked so much like ocean waves crashing - I had to use it with a lighthouse from Sailing Home.

Paper measurements:

Night of Navy: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored and folded in half at 4 1/4"
Pacific Point: 4" x 5 1/4"
Waves of the Ocean designer series paper: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"
Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4" (for inside of card)
Night of Navy: 2 1/8" x 3 3/8"
Basic White: 2" x 3 1/4"

I added PLENTY of rhinestones to each card!

Watch the video from Day 2 (I am trying to edit it on YouTube, to cut out the first 3 minutes of me trying to figure out why the stream wasn't working on Facebook. You'll know if I figured out how to edit...)

First card of Day 2 is a Slider Card! These are very cool! I did fumble a little bit, and maybe put something together out of order, but you get the idea. I'll do this style card again soon and make sure it's perfect.

This is so neat -

Paper measurements:

Coastal Cabana: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 1/2" and 4 1/2"
Basic White: 3 3/4" x 5 1/4" (to stamp on, for front of card)
Basic White: 3 3/4" x 5" (pull out card)
Basic White: 1/2" x 2 1/2" (slider mechanism)

Card 2 from Day 2 features the turtle from Whale Done. A little tone-on-tone background stamping, and inking up the Bark embossed circle. Turtle is popped up.

Paper measurements:

Pacific Point: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 1/2" and 4 1/2"
Coastal Cabana: 4" x 5 1/4"
Waves of the Ocean Designer series paper: 1 1/2" x 4"
Night of Navy: 2 1/2" circle
Basic White: 2 1/4" circle, embossed with Bark folder
Basic White: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2", notched corner to stamp/cut out turtle and greeting

Card 3 from Day 2 is a 4 1/4" Square Card and NON-traditional sealife colors! Again, I wanted to use some of the yellow prints. This particular pattern would work with flowers, but I decided to stamp CRABS! I know they aren't yellow...being from Maryland, I REALLY know they aren't yellow - but I don't limit myself to traditional colors for anything. I also colored some more of the Waves gems with a Stampin' Blend marker. This time I tried Medium Daffofil Delight, because it's the darkest shade of yellow I had...didn't turn out exactly yellow, but good enough.

Paper measurements:

Bumble Bee: 4 1/4" x 8 1/2", scored in half at 4 1/4"
Basic White: 4" x 4" (2 pieces, one for inside of card)
Waves of the Ocean Designer series paper: 3 7/8" x 3 7/8"
Bumble Bee: 1 1/2" x 4"
Basic White: scrap to stamp and cut out crab

Last, but not least, is a Basic White and Shimmery White card that is really simple, but sparkly and shimmery!

Paper measurements:

Basic White Thick: 4 1/4" x 11", scored in half at 5 1/2"
Basic White: 3 3/4" x 5"
Shimmery White: 3 9/16" x 4 13/16" (take 3 3/4" x 5" and cut it down 3/16")
Shimmery White and Basic White: scraps to punch out with Double Oval punch

Finish off with a bunch of Iridescent Rhinestones!

Now for all the materials - I'm just listing everything that I used, not separate by each card.
