Gifts Galore - Paper Pumpkin November 2021 Alternative Projects!

Happy Thanksgiving Crafty Friends!  I hope you all enjoyed this Thanksgiving, in whatever way you were able to celebrate.  I was glad that I wasn't too tired from EATING all that turkey, so that I could bring you some Alternative projects for the most recent Paper Pumpkin Kit - Gifts Galore.

I LIKE the idea of treat boxes or containers, but I honestly thought these were a weird shape, and too small for my needs.  I started off my video by making two BIGGER boxes.  Bigger than the little ones that came with the kit.  In the video, I make the Tree box and then the Snowman box.  I made the present box afterward.

After making some boxes, I moved on to make some CARDS.  I first made some 5" x 7" cards, and then made a few 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" cards.  I only made 6 or 7 in the video, but I'm sharing pictures of ALL of the cards that I made.

Notice that I also figured out how to make an envelope big enough for a 5" x 7" card, using ONE sheet of 8 1/2" x 11" card stock!  (I'll be making a separate video on that later!)

Just a reminder that as of now, I normally go Live every Thursday at 8:00pm ET.  It's just a matter of where I will be - ideally on my Facebook Page, but may be on my YouTube channel.  Facebook has been giving me such a hard time with the Live videos lately, but they are my first choice.

If you are not able to catch me live, you can watch over on YouTube.  If the picture does not appear below, you can click HERE to get to it on YouTube.

My first projects were the BOXES.  I used the shapes for the front and backs of the boxes, but I made new BIGGER boxes.  I'll provide cutting/scoring measurements for all (3) boxes below.  You'll need to watch the video for assembly.

Then I moved on to make a few 5" x 7" cards:

And finally some 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" cards.  I used a variety of embossing folders, and a few other stamps to finish off the cards.  Plenty of sparkle and bling all around!

Supplies you'll need to create these (Stampin' Up, unless otherwise noted.  Items may be retired.):

Stamps:  Gifts Galore (Paper Pumpkin Nov 2021), Endless Wishes
Ink:  Pool Party, Poppy Parade, Old Olive, Flirty Flamingo
Paper:   Pool Party, Poppy Parade, Old Olive, Flirty Flamingo, Basic White
Other:  Parisian Flourish/Bricke & Mortar/Timeworn Type/Merry Melody/Timber/Macrame embossing folders, Dazzling Diamonds glitter, Basic Rhinestones, Holiday Rhinestones, Garden Gem, Clear Wink of Stella pen, Nuvo Drops Ripened Pumpkins, 2 3/8" Scallop punch.

I am thrilled with all of the cards that I made out of this kit, along with the (3) larger boxes.  I feel like I can put more than just a few pieces of miniature candy in these boxes.  :)
