{BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 15 - Poinsettia

Happy Monday Crafty Peeps!

Who is ready for the NEW sketch for October?  We've got another Mini Slimline for you, and it's super easy!  Finished card size is 3" x 6", so I would suggest using 12" x 12" cardstock for your card bases, if you have it - it's more economical.  You'll get (4) card bases from (1) sheet of 12x12.

I started with a Just Jade card base, and added a layer of designer series paper - even though that layer is not in the sketch.

Then I've got more Just Jade cardstock and another print of that same designer series paper, again in Just Jade.

I stamped the poinsettia on White Thick paper, and watercolored with my Poppy Parade ink and an aqua painter.  I smash a clear block in my ink pad to make a color palette, then pick up ink from there with my aqua painter.  It's quick, and easy to clean up!

Gold embossed the greeting.

Finished off with some Bumblebee Enamel dots for the poinsettia center.  I think I ran the Clear Wink of Stella brush all over the poinsettia also.

Ink:  Poppy Parade, Versamark, Midnight (Catherine Pooler)

Paper: Just Jade, Basic White (Thick), Just Jade/In Color designer series paper

Other: Gold embossing powder, Clear Wink of Stella pen, 2020-2022 In Color Enamel Dots
