{BYSHC} Blog Hop Day 3 - Falling for the Holidays 2021

Hey friends!  Today, I'm sharing a card for Day 3 of the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers "Falling for the Holidays" Blog Hop!  

I've used another stamp set from one of our prize sponsors - Unity Stamp Co.  These little poinsettias and greeting comes from their 2020 Advent Calendar set.  I'm patiently waiting for this year's Advent Calendar to come out! :)

I also used the BYSHC Sketch Challenge 14...just goes to show that you can use these monthly sketches any time.  Save them for reference!  I've saved a picture of all the sketches on my computer, so I have them for later.

Paper measurements:

• Crumb Cake: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored in half at 4 1/4"; 1 3/4" x 4", and 1 3/4" x 5 1/4"
• Tidings of Christmas Designer Series paper:  4" x 5 1/4",  1 1/2" x 4", and 1 1/2" x 5 1/4"
• Crumb Cake: scraps to punch out greeting and layer.
• Evening Evergreen:  1 3/4" circle

I stamped, colored, and hand-cut those little poinsettias.  Then covered them Clear wink of Stella, and then a few dots of Gold Sunset Nuvo Drops.  The drops kind of settled together, to make a blob....but it's supposed to be the flower centers.

Greeting is stamped in Evening Evergreen, and cut with a 1 3/8" circle punch.  Layered on to a 1 3/4" circle of Evening Evergreen that I embossed with the Merry Melody folder.  All of that glued down to a Label Me Lovely punched out piece of Crumb Cake.

Flowers are popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals.
