Hi Crafty Friends! This week I aired my July 2021 Workshop, which I am calling "Fun Day at Sea"! I pulled out all of the sea/ocean/beachy stamps and dies that I have for this workshop. Let's start in the upper left corner of the picture - this is a Note Card and envelope set. I'm using Stampin' Blends markers, with 91% isopropryl alcohol on VELLUM for this card. This is a very cool technique, and I encourage you to try it out.
Paper measurements:
- Basic White Notecard and envelope, pre-cut
- White: 3 1/4" x 4 3/4"
- Vellum: 3 1/4" x 4 3/4"
- White: scrap to stamp and cut greeting
I attached an adhesive sheet to the vellum BEFORE I embossed with the Seashells 3-D embossing folder. Then I scribbled color all over with the Stampin' Blends, dropped some alcohol on, and blew it around. It's a fun technique - you really do get something different every time.
Once the vellum is dry, I attached that to a layer of White, tied ribbons around, and glued directly to the notecard front.
Add the gold frame and greeting, and finish off with some of the sequins.

Next up is a light house card. I left a greeting off of this one on purpose, so you can add whatever you want later. This card features the In Good Taste designer series papers that are on sale now through August 2nd! 15% off this pack!
Paper measurements:
- Night of Navy: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored and folded in half at 4 1/4".
- Misty Moonlight: 4" x 5 1/4"
- In Good Taste DSP: 3 3/4" x 5"
- In Good Taste DSP (other side of this same print): 2" x 4"
- White: 2 1/2" x 3 3/4"
- White: 4" x 5 1/4" (for inside of card)
DSPs and Misty Moonlight are all attached to the card front FLAT.
I stuck with just (3) shades of blue for the inks. Ink blend some Balmy Blue on the White layer, then stamp the lighthouse directly on top with Night of Navy. Add some birds in Misty Moonlight.
Tie Linen Thread around the base, and then pop this layer up.

Next up is a FUN card using some new Layering Diorama dies! I cut various layers using the Diorama dies, and glued them all together. Card base is Just Jade, with Coastal Cabana and Bermuda Bay layers BEHIND the card front flap.
Paper measurements:
- Just Jade: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored and folded in half at 4 1/4".
- Coastal Cabana: 4" x 5 1/4"
- Bermuda Bay: 4" x 5 1/4"
- White: 4" x 5 1/4" (for inside of card)
- White: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2", notched corner for stamping and punching/cutting from
- Rainbow Glimmer paper - to die cut coral and fish
I started out by glueing all of my diorama layers together, behind the card front flap. Then I stamped the coral on the piece of white for the inside of the card and attached that.
You'll attach your coral and fish - with glue/glue dots/pop them up if you want. Then I stamped the whale in Gorgeous Grape and punched him out. He's also popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Stamp the greeting and hand-cut it. I just glued that down flat. Finish off some more of the sequins from the Ephemera pack.
I love all of the fun colors and sparkle on this card!

Ink: Calypso Coral, Gorgeous Grape, Bermuda Bay
Paper: Just Jade, Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay, White, Rainbow Glimmer paper
Other: Layering Diorama dies, Whale punch, Expressions in Ink Ephemera Pack
Last card is another Notecard/envelope. This time I used the Layering Diorama dies to make a MASK. I used that mask to ink blend (3) shades of purple for this cool background!
Paper measurements:
- Basic White Notecard/envelope
- White: 3 1/2" x 5", cut with one of the Layering Diorama dies from the center - THIS IS YOUR MASK
- White: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2", notched corner to stamp and cut seashells
Tape your Diorama mask on top of your note card. Ink blend color - I used Fresh Freesia, Highland Heather, and Gorgeous Grape.
Stamp and cut/die-cut your shells. Color over them with some Clear Wink of Stella, and then start attaching the gold leaves, and shells. I popped the shells up with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Finish off some more of the sequins from the Ephemera pack.
I love all of the fun colors and sparkle on this card!
