Seashells and Seahorses - Seaside Cards

Seashells and Seahorses!  When I was Live last Thursday, making my beautiful seashells card, I totally forgot to add the Seahorse to it!  I had it die-cut, and ready to go....completely forgot. 

I also wanted to give you a proper look at how to apply the Gilded Leafing, so a follow-up video was required.  :)

Bonus is that I made another version in silver and blue.

First up, I re-made the pink Seashell card so that I could show how to apply the Gilded Leafing.  THIS time, I remembered to add the Seahorse that I had die-cut!

Everything is the same as the card from last week, with the addition of the seahorse.  He is cut from the same Gold paper that is layered behind the Sand & Sea designer series paper.

Then I made a silver and blue version - still using the Sand & Sea designer series papers.  This time I used some sparkly silver paper, and instead of the Gilded Leafing - I embossed with some sparkly silver embossing powder.

Card designs are both the same, just different colors.  What's also different about this card is that I colored all over the seashells die-cut/embossed piece of Pearlescent paper with Stampin' Blends, sprayed with alcohol, and blew the colors and pearl around.  

Then I took my two-way glue pen, and scribbled over it to add sparkly silver embossing powder.

I actually made two of the silver and blue versions.  This one has slightly different placement of the seahorse, and ribbon.

Paper measurements for ALL CARDS (Pink and Blue):

• Very Vanilla/Basic White Thick: 7" x 10".  Score in half at 5"
• Gold Metallic/Dazzling Glimmer: 4" x 6" - cut out the inside of this piece to use for something else.
• Sand & Sea Designer Series paper: 3 13/16" x 5 13/16"
• Pearlescent Paper: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2", die cut with Seashells die
• Very Vanilla/Basic White Thick: Scrap to stamp greeting.

I really had a great time creating these cards - now to send them off!
