Craft Roulette Challenge #64

This is my fourth post for the Craft Roulette Challenge.  Mary Gunn Funn runs Craft Roulette.  I found her on Facebook, but she runs her weekly show on YouTube now.  Find her!  She has a weekly guest, and they do some stamping together.  The FUNN part is that she spins a wheel - hence, roulette...to get the required parameters for their stamping project.

I created this Easeel card for Episode #64.

The parameters are:

• Project: Easel card
• Colors: Green + 3
• Element: Plaids or Checks
• Random: Markers

Paper measurements:

• Pacific Point: 4 1/4" x 11".  Score in half at 5 1/2"
• Pacific Point: 4 1/4"x 5 1/2", and 4" x 5 1/4"
• Berry Delightful Designer Series paper (two prints from the same pack): 3 3/4" x 5", and a 3" circle cut from Layering Circles dies.
• Granny Apple Green: 3 1/4" circle, cut with largest Layering Circles dies
• Granny Apple Green: 4 1/8" x 5 3/8" (for inside of card)
• White: 4" x 5 1/4" (for inside of card)
• Pacific Point: 1 1/4" x 4"
• Berry Delightful designer series paper:  1" x 3 3/4", extras to hand-cut strawberries and flowers
• White:  scrap to stamp and hand-cut "hello friend"

Here it is flat - it's still not showing my Wink of Stella marker on the larger strawberries!

I went with a traditional Easel card.  Start out with a 4 1/4" x 11" piece for the base.  Score that at 2 3/4", and 5 1/2".  I follow up with an entire 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" layer on that front flap, the same color as the card base.  That just makes it seamless to me, if there are any alignment issues.

After the base was made, I added some plaid designer series paper on a smaller layer of Pacific Point.  Then die cut a circle and scalloped circle (Granny Apple Green) and popped that up.  Hand-cut strawberries, leaves, and some small flowers.  Some are popped up, some are flat.

I picked out on of my favorite greeting stamps, and stamped that in Flirty Flamingo ink.  Hand-cut that and popped it up!

To finish, I added a bow of Lemon Lime Twist ribbon, and some Clear dots.
