Gilded Autumn Package

Need a fast gift?  You can print your own Amazon gift cards immediately, and then make a beautiful card and packaging to go with it!  I did it twice this week...

I wanted to make a really nice, big card for this occasion, so I went with a 5" x 7" card.  Lots of room to decorate and add beautiful leaves.  I pulled out an old favorite leaf set - Autumn Leaf Prints, and I embossed them all with several different types/colors of embossing powder.

I embossed and then hand-cut all the leaves.   Embossed the greeting and cut that out with dies, and then tucked the leaves mostly behind that part.  The bow uses both ribbons from the Basket Weave and Metallic ribbon combo pack - Mint Macaron and Copper - nice!

I know the chicken wire background doesn't really go with leaves, but it was the only embossing folder that I had that was big enough.

I had to make a tag to match.  It's 2" wide by maybe 4" long.  I embossed the letter from the retired Letters for You stamps/dies.  Mounted that on another stitched/scalloped oval, and tucked some more leaves behind.  I used some more of the Mint Macaron Basket Weave ribbon from the combo pack, and some Linen Thread this time.

Finished it off with a metallic leaf, and some Champagne Rhinestones.

I used the Envelope Punch board to make the envelope for the 5" x 7" card, with the Gilded Autumn papers.

For the Amazon printable gift cards - it prints on an 8 1/2" x 11" piece of paper, and you just fold it up and put it inside the pretty card that you've made.  This is really a convenient way to purchase a gift without having to go to a store to actually buy a gift card.  You can also buy them all on-line and just email the gift card code....but then there's no pretty packaging or card with that.

I hope this gives you an idea for your own gift-giving - birthdays, thank yous, or holidays!
