Another Birthday Party Package - Star Wars themed

After making the Birthday Party Package for my friend last week/early this week...when was that???   Anyway - my brother's birthday was a couple of days ago, so I made one for him.  I bought a few sheets of this Star Wars paper at the Stamp & Scrapbook Expo a year or two ago, thinking I would use it for him.

I made this huge envelope out of an entire sheet of 12" x 12" paper.  I love that nothing goes to waste!

Inside is my "birthday party package".  It's a 6" x 8" cellophane bag with a cake mix/icing pack, balloon, and candle inside.  Add a decorated bag topper to that, just to fancy it up.  I didn't get a close-up of the topper - but you can see, I used a lot of different stamps on it.  I wanted a lot of different fonts saying "happy birthday".  I also mixed in some shapes.  The yellow moon-like image makes me think of the line, "That's not a moon..."

I stuck with Basic Black, Smoky Slate, and Crushed Curry for the color scheme.

I did get a closer picture of the card and tag.  I LOVE this Ewok stamp from Ink Road Stamps!!!  It's from a set called "Furball", and I think it's adorable.  I hand-cut him out, and added him to card.  That Crushed Curry background is embossed with an old Stars embossing folder.  The diagonal stripe came from my 12" x 12" piece.  It was the part at the end that had writing on it.  It worked out perfectly.

For the tag, I embossed it with the Coastal Weave embossing folder, and then added some die-cut letters.  It is beyond cool using the Adhesive Foam sheets.  I'll have to remember to show this in a video soon.  All of those glittery letters are raised up.  I love it!  Finished that tag off with some Silver enamel stars.

I hope you give it a try.  It's so fun putting these together!
