Banner Year for Fall

Happy fall, y'all!!  For real!  I'm so ready for it!   This was my card for a recent swap for the new Aug-Dec catalog.  Since FALL is my favorite theme, season, and time of year...I went with the new Banner Year Bundle.  The Banner Year has a great variety of decent-sized images to use from fall through spring.

The bundle also includes a new Banners Pick a Punch - it's a large size punch that has two banner designs, and each one will take (3) different sizes of paper - 1/2", 3/4", and 1".  Perfect sizes for adding a little banner to your projects.

BANNERS PICK A PUNCH

Back to my card - I started with a Cajun Craze card base, and added a piece from the In Good Taste designer series paper pack at a wonky angle.  I like this card layout, and have used it quite a bit.

I die cut the small piece of Early Espresso using one of the scallopy stitched circles from the Tasteful Labels dies, followed by a small circle of Very Vanilla card stock using the Layering Circles dies.   Stamp the leaves and acorns on the Vanilla circle, randomly.

I stamped the squirrel on Very Vanilla, and hand-cut him.  It's not too much of a chore to cut him out, and he's so cute!  He's popped up with a mini dimensional or two.

The greeting flag is tucked underneath the Early Espresso scallop circle.

Champagne rhinestones finish it off.

Put this card design on your list of things to try!

Supplies you'll need to create these (Stampin' Up, unless otherwise noted.  Items may be retired.):

Thanks for visiting, and Happy stamping!
