Out with the Old, In with the New - Part 3 (Final)

Hi Crafty Friends!  I had fun sharing a few more projects on a Facebook Live video on Thursday night.  This was the  last video in my "Out with the Old, In with the New" series.  I hope you enjoy the cards!

If videos are not your thing, here are the projects that I demonstrated, and more information about each.

First up, I featured the Bird Ballad Laser Cut Cards/Envelopes.  They are on sale right now, but will only be available until June 2nd (or while supplies last).   I added in a sheet of Crumb Cake, behind the laser-cut card front, so that I can write on the inside and not have that show through.

I used the retiring Piece of Cake and Cake Builder punch for this focal piece.  I embossed in gold, and added some Very Vanilla/Gold Metallic edge ribbon.  In the video, I made a birthday card - everything else the same though.

Stamps:  Piece of Cake (and Cake Builder punch)

Colors:  Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake

Other:  Bird Ballad Laser-cut Cards/envelopes, Vanilla/Gold metallic edge ribbon, Stitched Shapes dies

Next, I wanted to give you a good look at all of the NEW In Colors.  They really look great together!  Going across, we've got  Cinnamon Cider, Misty Moonlight, Magenta Madness, Just Jade, and Bumble Bee.  I used a Just Jade card base, and for the greeting strip.

Since I don't have my In Color ink pads yet, I used Versamark to stamp the branches from Tasteful Touches all over the In Color strips.  This gives a tone-on-tone look.   Then I embossed the "Thank You" from the NEW Ornate Thanks, with white embossing powder.

Stamps:  Tasteful Touches, Ornate Thanks
Colors:  Cinnamon Cider, Misty Moonlight, Magenta Madness, Just Jade, and Bumble Bee
Other:  white embossing, Pearls.

Lastly, I case'd this card from another demonstrator.  Again, I used the flower from the new Tasteful Touches,  along with greetings from Ornate Thanks. 

I cut a piece of designer series paper from the In Good Taste pack (LOVE IT!), using the Stitched Rectangles dies, and then did some paper piecing for the flowers.  I stamped them on the In Color 6x6 designer series paper, and hand-cut.  Then just tape them on my rectangle die-cut piece and trim off the edges.

Add some Bumble Bee Gingham ribbon (NEW) and some rhinestones to finish it off!

Stamps:  Tasteful Touches, Ornate Thanks, Magical Mermaid (for the spritzy stamping)
Colors:  Bumble Bee and Black
Other:  Stitched Rectangle dies, Bumble Bee Gingham ribbon
