Merry Christmas Deer!

I went back to an old faithful friend for this card - Santa's Sleigh, with dies.  It's retired, but you could substitute any tree and critter of your choice.  There are a lot of layers and pieces going on here, and I love it all!

I wanted to use the Buffalo Check background, so I did that with the Lovely Lipstick.  Layer that onto a piece of Early Espresso, which is then popped up on the Early Espresso card base with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Stamp "Christmas" from the Merry Christmas to All stamp set, on a strip of Very Vanilla cardstock, using Early Espresso ink.  Tack that down on the front of the card.

Then comes all the die-cutting and embossing.  The tree and reindeer are stamped, then die cut.  "Merry" is cut from Gold Foil, using the Merry Christmas dies.  Use the Layering Circles dies to cut the largest scallop out of Early Espresso, and then the largest fitting circle from Very Vanilla.  Emboss the circle of Very Vanilla with the Tin Tile embossing folder.

Start layering and gluing everything down.  I started with the embossed circle and scallop.  Then the reindeer, and tree.  End with Merry.  I may have gotten it a little bit crooked...ooops!

And of course this picture shows that I used a scrap piece of Call Me Clover that had a score mark on it...and it landed on my tree.  Double oops!

I hope you enjoy this card, with all it's faults.  :)
