Swirly Swirls

I love the swirly shapes in the Swirly Bird stamp set, for making abstract pieces with a lot of colors.  We made the Spring-colored version this weekend at Stamp Club.

Colors are Coastal Cabana, Granny Apple Green, Mango Melody, and Pineapple Punch.  I also used a bit of the Coastal Cabana/Granny Apple Green reversible ribbon on it.  Just folded it, then stapled to the top corner.  Words are stamped in Black, and then I added a few rhinestones.

I liked this card so much that I made another one just like it, with different colors.  This time, I used Crushed Curry, Old Olive, Cajun Craze, Soft Suede (splatter bits), and Early Espresso (words).  The ribbon is some retired Early Espresso cotton ribbon, and then I added some Metallic Pearls in Gold.  They aren't BLINGY enough, so they kind of get lost in the card....my bad.  Now YOU know.  :)

I hope you are inspired to try your own artsy card!
