Happy Easter Meow

 

Whew!  I spent a lot of time coloring all these cute animals from Tim Holtz's Hipster stamp set, and then hand-cutting them.  The EARS are from the March 2017 Paper Pumpkin kit, Bunny Buddies - pictured below.  I'm glad I kept this set around! 

They didn't all get bright colors, but they will still make fun Easter cards.  This is the first one.  I really don't remember which color markers I used to color all of these guys, because I mostly used my Retired markers.

I went with Pumpkin Pie and Melon Mambo on this one, and I really like those colors together.  "happy easter" is from Easter Lamb, and "SWEET" is from the same Tim Holtz set as the animals.

I used the Tufted embossing folder for the background.  I wanted some oval layers (like EGGS), but the animals themselves are so large...they cover up my largest oval dies.  So, I just glued him to the front of my card.  Popped up the words with Stampin' Dimensionals, and added some glitzy sequins that I just got from Ink Road.
