Easter Art

Easter is in a few weeks!  I made this using some old stuff, and some current stuff.  It's a 7" x 7" frame that I got from Joann's.  I pulled the mat and glass out.  It's just a regular frame, not a shadow box, so I don't want the things that are popped up to get smashed.  Plus, I like the texture and 3-D stuff out in the open.

Colors are Flirty Flaming, and Granny Apple Green.  Designer series paper is from the All My Love pack.

How about some measurements and info?

Base: 

• Flirty Flamingo:  7" x 7"
• Whisper White:  6" x 6"
• All My Love piece:  5 7/8" x 5 7/8"

Each square has two pieces:

• Flirty Flamingo: 2 1/2" x 2 1/2"
• Whisper White: 2 3/8" x 2 3/8"

Happy Easter square - I stamped eggs from, Seasonal Solids, randomly to cover the White.  Stamped greeting from Well Scripted, and punched out with 1 3/4" circle punch.  Layered over Pretty Label punch, and add some pearls.

Lamb square - Stamped Easter Lamb, and colored with regular markers.   You can't see it, but I ran all over his wool with Clear Wink of Stella for some shimmer.

Butterflies square - Butterfly Duet bundle to stamp and punch the butterflies.  Grass is from Home to Roost stamp set.

Bunny square - White square is stamped randomly with easter greetings from two different sets (Occasions Bundle - that's really the name of the set, and Teeny Tiny Wishes).  Stamped Chocolate Bunny in Early Espresso ink, then I colored all over him with one of the brown Stampin' Blends..I think it was Bronze.  Hand-cut him, and tie ribbon around his little neck.

All of the base layers and squares are attached with a combination of Sticky Strip, and Fast Fuse.  They won't fall off.

I really do like how it turned out.  I tend to grab up square frames whenever I see them.
