My friend's baby turned ONE yesterday, so I had to make him this special card. I'm PRETTY SURE that I used the same colors and same teddy bear stamp when I made the baby shower card last year...at least I'm consistent. :)
The card is 5" x 5", and I made the envelope using the Envelope Punch Board. That board has come in handy so much. I LOVE being able to custom-make just about any size envelope that I need.
I did a lot of embossing for this card. I wanted to tie in the gold from the designer paper somehow, so that's what I decided on. I also did a lot of hand-cutting. There's no die for those balloons or the bear. I did die-cut the number 1. :)
The colors in the designer paper are Soft Sky, and I didn't have any more card stock left in that color, so I used Balmy Blue. It's close enough.
Balloons, and the number One are popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals (regular and mini size). Teddy Bear is just glued on to the edge of that raised up panel.
Happy birthday again MC!
