Black Friday Crop Challenge - embossing!

I think this was probably our 15th year having a Black Friday Crop, and for the past several years we give ourselves a little challenge for the day.   It's usually something like - make something using this picture frame, or make something with certain colors, or decorate this thing...  This year's challenge was "embossing".   It didn't matter what you made, as long as it had some kind of embossing on it.

There are two types of embossing.  Heat embossing uses the heat gun and embossing powder to make a raised/melted image.  Dry embossing uses an embossing folder - it puts a raised pattern in your paper.  So - our challenge was to use either of those methods on something.

I hope you enjoy our projects!

Created by Diane - she embossed the bottom of her card with a Falling Snow folder.

Created by Jamie - she embossed her backgrounds using two different folders.  She used the Cable Knit on the left card, and the Falling Snow on the right for her snowflake card.

Created by Lori - she did heat embossing on her cat cards, and they are super cute, and then she used both heat and dry embossing on her red snowflake card.  Love it!

Created by me -  I did dry embossing, with a swirly background for two cards.  Same design for both, but different colors.

I hope you enjoyed some of our creations from yesterday!  We had a great day!
