Painted Harvest with Buffalo Check

I cannot get enough of the Buffalo Check background stamp.  It is SO versatile!  I love that you can just add lines with a ruler and a marker, and you've got some pretty cool plaid.

For these backgrounds, I used Pumpkin Pie ink on Pineapple Punch card stock.  Then drew on lines with a brown Sharpie to make the plaid.  Easy peasy!

To make this sunflower really bright and full of color, I stamped the bottom flower image in Pineapple Punch THREE times.  Ink and stamp, then ink and turn stamp 180 degrees and stamp again, then ink again and turn it a little bit and stamp again.  Really get that color on.  Finish the sunflower with Pumpkin Pie, and hand-cut it.

Emboss the Pumpkin Pie circle with the Basket Weave folder.  Really - anything with a lot of texture would be nice.

Add some Call Me Clover leaf ribbon for the final touch.  I put glue dots behind the leaves - like every 2nd or 3rd leaf, to hold it down.

I hope you're enjoying this Buffalo Check background as much as I am!
