The Tide is High

...but I'm holding on...   Now that song is in your head, right?  At least it's a good one by Blondie.  :)

I used the High Tide stamp set for this card, and I simply love the water image!  I wanted to use the new Granite Gray, so I paired it with Coastal Cabana for the card base.  I'm so glad that color is back!

Emboss the Coastal Cabana panel with the Seaside embossing folder.    Then I cut a piece of Very Vanilla with the largest size circle from the Stitched Shapes thinlits.  I've been using that particular thinlit a lot lately - it just seems to be a great size.

I started stamping at the bottom of the circle, and worked my way up.  The ground cover is the stamp that is the ground around the lighthouse - I turned the stamp upside down.  Stamp the water above the sand.

Then I stamped the green grass, and the birds.  Add the sun and the greeting the end.

The greeting is actually two teeny tiny stamps from Thoughtful Banners.  I stamped "Friend" first, then added "hello" above it.  You may decide to do the hello first, then the friend...whatever works best for you.

After you've stamped your circle piece, attach a piece of 5/8" Burlap ribbon behind it, and then pop that whole thing up with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I hope you enjoyed this card!
