Valentine Easy Bag

This is an "Easy Bag", made out of 2 sheets of 12x12 designer papers.  I don't have the instructions, but I'm sure you could search for it.  I know it's on a blog or website somewhere.

No stamping!  EGADS!

Cardstock:  Love Impressions designer series papers

Other:  Pewter Jumbo eyelets, Crop-o-dile, Real Red Satin ribbon, strong tape.

*UPDATE*  I knew someone that I knew had instructions!  I found these on Claudia Perry's blog, so hop on over and watch her video.  I didn't realize that it's actually called a "Perfect Bag" too...  click here to watch Claudia's video.

Also note that I used different scoring measurements for my box.  I did 4" on three sides, and then 1 1/2" on the top.  You can mix it up and change the measurements to make whatever bag/dimensions you want.  Go for it!

Monogrammed Folio and Card sets

I was at a crop yesterday, and ran out of pictures to work with!  How does that happen???  So I decided to make other stuff with the papers and cardstock that I had on hand.

I made two sets of these monogrammed folios with 4 cards each.  I only had 12x12 with me for the folio, so I cut 2 3/4" off of one side, so that made it 9 1/4" x 12".  Score in half at 6".  Then score up from the bottom at 3".  Finished folio is not perfectly square - 6 x 6 1/4"...you could change it so it's a perfect square if you wanted to.

Stamps:  Martha Stewart monogram set that I got a few years ago.

Cardstock:  Chocolate Chip, Old Olive, Whisper White, Sweet Pea designer series papers (from last year)

Ink:  Old Olive, Chocolate Chip

Other:  Crop-o-Dile, Antique Brass Jumbo eyelets, 1 3/8" & Scallop Circle punches, Old Olive Wide grosgrain, Sticky Strip

Happy Birthday George!

Happy Birthday George!  George plays on our Thursday night pool league, and this Thursday is his 81st birthday.  We fondly refer to him as "Old Man George", but he REALLY is!!!  :)  He's the sweetest guy, and we all adore him.

I cut down 2 pieces of cardstock and took them to league with me last week.  I had everyone sign those pages, then I made the card.  I filled in some of the bald spots on the signature pages with birthday sayings.

Stamps:  Birthday Greetings, Alphabet Fun Numbers (both retired)

Cardstock:  Close to Cocoa, Glorious Green, Summer Sun (all retired), Basic Black, Whisper White, Kraft

Ink:  Black, Close to Cocoa, Glorious Green

Other:  Creamy Caramel/Close to Cocoa/Tempting Turquoise/Soft Suede markers, 1/2", 1", and 2 1/4" circle punches.
Here's a picture of the inside.  The card is a full sheet of cardstock, folded in half.

Be My Valentine

I love this single stamp from the new mini catalog!  I paired it with some pearls, and black/vanilla combo for an old-timey feel.

Stamps:  Be My Valentine

Cardstock:  Basic Black, Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla, 1st Edition designer series papers

Ink:  Black

Other:  Pearl accents, Stampin' Dimensionals

Happy Birthday Donna! Calendar and Custom Box

My friend Donna loves her Harley, but unfortunately I don't have any motorcycle stamps.  I made do with some patterned paper from the scrapbook store, and the Cuttlebug to make that silver riveted looking panel.

I also made a custom-size pizza box for the 4x6 calendar in a cd case that I'm giving her.

Remember how to make the little pizza boxes? Here’s a link to the splitcoast tutorial in case you need a refresher. Same idea here, different measurements.

The measurements for this box are:  Cut your cardstock at 8 1/2" x 12".  Score on the short side at 1" and 7 1/2".  Score on the long side at 1", 5 1/2", 6 1/2", and 11".
Stamps:  Happy Birthday To You (retired, single stamp)

Cardstock:  Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black, Whisper White, Harley Davidson patterned paper (from LSS), Silver cardstock (the retired stuff that's really shiny, and white on the back)

Ink:  Black

Other:  Big Shot, Rivets embossing folder, Basic Black wide grosgrain ribbon, Pumpkin Pie grosgrain ribbon, Diamond shaped brads (retired)
