This past week's challenge was to come up with something the "same, but different". So you either had to use the same layout, different colors, or same colors, different layout, or same stamps, different something else. Get it?
This week's challenge was to post something Halloweeny. I love it! I wrapped a little treat for a friend in some Ghostly Greetings DSPs, and added a tag. I just hand cut that black layer behind the circle. Card is 4 1/4" square.
I also had fun making my "pumpkin guy" using Mr. Twigster (my new favorite snowman)!

Jamie Gibbs totally invited herself over for dinner tonight, and we got to playing with my plethora of supplies afterwards...! We made these cute little Halloween mini scrapbooks. Inside pages are made with the same swirly orange paper that's on the covers.
This week's challenge is inspired by the signature pop art style of Andy Warhol. Bold panels of color! I went with a simple, blank notecard - it was hard enough getting my layers the same. I finally ended up just using a punch, and trimming around.Stamps: Fall Flair

I'm so excited about Halloween stuff! I made this cute ornament card by cutting out two circles for the base, and attached them together with a Round Tab punch out of Black cardstock. Attached that to the circles with Sticky Strip. Stamps: House of Haunts

Oh my God! My friend Jamie scored a whole pack of these hexagon shaped coasters from a bar and we immediately put them to use! I made this little mini scrapbook out of them. I traced the coasters onto Whisper White cardstock, and cut out, for the inside pages. Bound it using my trusty Bind-It-All. I love that thing! Stamps: House of Haunts, Haunting Halloween

This is a triangle box, to hold some Halloween TREATS! I love making little treaty things for Halloween!
I stamped little girlie here on Glossy White cardstock, then sponged Tangerine and Kiwi around her, and on her dress. Colored in her body/face and hair with markers.

This week's challenge was in honor of Labor Day - to make either a Patriotic or Baby themed card. I got this CUTE baby face stamp from Tin Can Mail (found it at Michael's). It's ADORABLE. I immediately thought of those baby pictures that they make them into pumpkins, flower pots, or ladybugs. Too cute!
I used a jumbo wheel for the background, then stamped the little snowman head and punched it out. Added rosy pink cheeks with a drop of reinker and a blender pen.

This week's challenge is a color combination - Chocolate Chip, Old Olive, More Mustard, and Ruby Red. These are some of my FAVORITE colors! I love FALL, and can't wait to see more of these colors outside. I made two cards this time, just because I like the smaller size...4 1/4" square cards. They still fit in a Medium envelope, so you can mail them.

New Catalog Unveiling is tomorrow night, but I'm posting our cards early so you all can see what we're making! This window card is using a very cool technique - you color Crystal Effects with a drop of Classic reinker, and paint it on the window sheet (Transparency) with a toothpick. It dries very nicely, and has a cool dimension to it.
This card is a complete rip off from a friend, Connie Babbert. Thanks Connie! This cool scallopy centerpiece is done with our new Scallop border punch! Square is 2 3/4" square, punch the scallop out of just the middle of each side.
This is a gift card! Finished size is 3 1/2" x 5".

LAST week's challenge was to take ONE layout, and make TWO different cards. I took it a little bit further, and used the Cuttlebug embossing folders and Rock & Roll stamping technique on both cards as well. I like the similarities. I made an insert for an acrylic picture frame for my desk! I did crack the top of it a little bit, trying to pull it so I could get the cardstock in between. Oopsie!
I forgot to post this card from last week. I was showing some friends how to do the Paper Piecing technique. You just stamp the image on some patterned paper, and cut out certain pieces - the body here. You can stick on, or pop up with dimensionals. I colored the rest of him in with my marker. This week's challenge was REALLY a challenge. Colors to use were: Really Rust, Regal Rose, Sahara Sand, and Blue Bayou. My first challenge was to find some Blue Bayou! I finally found a small piece. Second challenge was getting through making this card...I really don't like these colors together! I tried to tone down the Regal Rose cardstock, but sponging some Sahara Sand ink on it...kind of yucky, but it's not so bright. Stamps: Polka Dots & Paisleys

This week's challenge was to make something with bugs or insects...I discovered that I have ZERO stamps with bugs or insects, so I had to make one. I used circle punches to make this lady bug. The card is a mini note card...4 1/4" square, I think.
This week's challenge was to use any resist technique. I used "Crayon Resist". I stamped swirls in Black Staz-On, then drew all over them with a white crayon. Then I took sponge daubers and smeared ink all over the Glossy cardstock. The crayon resists the ink, so there you have it! Sorry for the blurry pic. 
I know masculine cards are a challenge for some people, so I hope this week's "challenge" is helpful to you! I actually have two cards for this week. This one was for my dad on Father's Day. I used some neat stamps that I got from Close To My Heart, along with some designer papers. I'm irritated that my glue pen shows through the vellum. I later went back and ran the corner of a scrap of cardstock under the vellum, to lift it off the glue...can't see it anymore.
This week's challenge was to use the colors - turquoise, Green Galore, and any pink. I used some scraps of the pink, and wasn't sure if it would match...but I like it! I've been neglecting my background stamps, so I threw one of those in. Then I DTP'd (direct to paper) the edge of the rose. Stamps: Crab & Company, Canvas Background
