12 Weeks of Christmas Cards 2026: Week 4

Do you have any kind of stocking die?  Mine is old but it still does the job.  These cards will fit in 5" x 7" envelopes, so easy for mailing.  The idea is to die-cut two sets of stocks/accents/cuffs and attach them with a hinge at the top.  If you have the current Stitched Stocking dies, they would just make a smaller card than this one.  Same idea.

I cut two sets of my stocking die pieces from each color, then cut what I needed to make the hinges, and punched accents pieces from the leftovers.

Hinge is about 3/8" wide, scored in half.  You want the hinge at the top of your stocking cuff, for a "top-fold card".

Paper Measurements:
  • Cherry Cobbler/Garden Green/Real Red/Basic White:  (2 each) 5 1/2" x 8 1/2"
Punch finishing bits out of scraps from the cardstock scraps.  I brought out an old favorite stamp set to emboss the "Happy Holidays" on all of the stockings.

I took the pictures before I added doo-dads.  :(  I used plenty of Gold Accents, Basic Rhinestones, and Peppermind candies to decorate.

Supplies you'll need to create these (Stampin' Up, unless otherwise noted.  Items may be retired.):

Stamps:  Bold & Basic Greetings
Ink:  Versamark
Paper:  Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green, Real Red, Basic White
Other:  Stocking die, small ornament and tree punches, Santa's Hat punch, Basic Rhinestones,  Peppermint Candies, Gold/Silver/White embossing powders

Currently watching Mr. & Mrs. Christmas on Hallmark!  :)

See you next week.

Thanks for visiting, and Happy stamping!
