Pop-Up Triple Cube Cards

Happy Sunday Crafty Friends!  Today I'm sharing the Pop-Up Triple Cube Cards that I made Thursday night.  I made these several years ago, and recently got a request to show how to make them.  You got it!  I like to do two different sizes for projects like this, so we ended up with a 5" x 5" version, and then an A2 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" version.  I like them both!   As per usual, I did have one or two whoopsies during the live video.  It's always something...  :)

Reminder that my BOGO Sale is going on!  You can find all of the details and information on THIS blog post.  BOGO Sale dates are June 15 - July 15, 2026.  If you have any questions at all, please email me and ask! I am removing items as they are claimed and orders placed.

Just a reminder that I am generally Live on-line every Thursday at 8:00pm ET.  I stream to BOTH YouTube and Facebook simultaneously, but I recommend viewing on YouTube.

If you are not able to catch me live, you can watch over on YouTube.  If the picture does not appear below, you can click HERE to get to it.

First Pop-Up Triple Cube card is the 5" x 5" size version.  I really like this bigger version, and you can either use a 5" x 7" envelope, or make your own custom-sized envelope.  I wanted to use the Waterside Retreat papers, but I did not get the stamps or dies that go with it.  That's okay though!  These designer series papers have a few sheets that you can cut out the images.  I cut out some oars and old-timey life jackets!

You'll definitely want to watch the video to see how to cut, fold, and assemble these pieces but the basic idea is - you make the base column, then you make two smaller cubes and glue them on to the front of the base.

I thought this would be a COOL project to try with some 12" x 12" paper as the base...just to see how big I can make this thing.  I think it would be great for a table decoration or something to put your desk...it's going to take up some space, for sure.  I filmed a video last night, where I made the base using some Halloween colors/papers.  It's so huge!  I laugh every time I look at it!  That is still in progress, but I will upload and share that as soon as I have it finished.  I'm having a hard time finding embellishments, stamps or die-cuts that are big enough to take up all the space.  The two front cubes are 6" x 6"....so a lot of real estate to work with, and the whole thing is 12" tall.  Hilarious!

This Thursday's project is going to be a Mini Album using the packing materials that I used to ship everyone's May-Aug Paper Shares - the chipboard that I included to make the package sturdier, along with the Boutique Blossoms an new In Color papers.  I might have to do a Part 1 video ahead of time - to cut the chipboard and make the base of the album.  Then Part 2 would be live on Thursday to add pages and things.  It's looking like a busy week already!

Thanks for visiting, and Happy stamping!
