Not so happy Saturday for me folks. :( My pool team lost our tournament today, so we will not be going to Las Vegas in August for the Worlds Tournament. Bummer......but I am happy to share my In Color projects from Thursday night. I really love the color combinations! I posted the 2026 Color Coach to Toni's Stamping & Sharing Group (in Facebook) last week, so please use that resource. We get a new one every year, and sadly I have not saved all of them. Or any of them, really. Once we get a new one, the old files are dead to me. HA!

First project features a returing In Color - Crisp Cantaloupe, along with Calypso Coral and Basic Black. I used the Crisp Cantaloupe Shimmer Brush to paint this SHIMMERY background. Adding some pieces from the Floral Flight Accents. I love these die-cuts and they are so thick! You can definitely heat-emboss them, if you wanted to.
Stamp some little bits from the Fern & Flora set, once that Crisp Cantaloupe Shimmer brush dries!
Paper Measurements:
- Calypso Coral: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
- Basic Black: 3 3/4" x 5"
- Basic White: 3 9/16" x 4 13/16"
- Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4", for inside of card
- Basic White: scrap to stamp/hand-cut greeting
Close-up that hopefully shows ALL THAT SHIMMER! I love these In Color Shimmer Brushes!
Finish off with some of the Pearlized Faceted Circles.
Stamps: Fern & Flora
Ink: Calypso Coral, Basic Black
Paper: Calypso Coral, Basic Black, Basic White
Other: Floral Flight Accents, Crisp Cantaloupe Shimmer Brush, Pearlized Faceted Circles (Calypso Coral)
Our second card is mixing both of the In Color sets - Hydrangea Hue and Cloud Cover, paired with Smoky Slate. All of layers on the front of this card will be ripped....or don't rip them if you don't like the ripped effect. After I ripped, I ink-blended the same ink color on the ripped edges. So, Hydrangea Hue ink-blended on the Hydrangea Hue ripped edges.
Paper Measurements:
- Smoky Slate: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
- Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4", for inside of card
- Hydrangea Hue: 4" x 5 1/2", rip top and bottom edges
- Cloud Cover: 3 3/4" x 5 1/2", rip top and bottom edges
- Basic White: 2 1/2" x 5 1/2", rip top and bottom edges
Finish with some Cloud Cover In Color Flat Pearls.
Stamps: Sunset Coast
Ink: Hydrangea Hue, Cloud Cover, Smoky Slate
Paper: Hydrangea Hue, Cloud Cover, Smoky Slate, Basic White
Other: 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls
Third project is finishing the front decorating on a Stand-Up Notepad and Pen Holder that I made a couple of weeks ago HERE. I brought in Terrific Toadstools, which is on the Last Chance list now. You could use anything on this project. The important part is the color combination, that again came from the 2026 Color Coach: Strawberry Slush, Secret Sea, and Basic Beige.
Paper Measurements:
- I'm not going to add these, since they're already listed in this blog post.
Finish with some Antique Pearls, which are a perfect match with Basic Beige.
Stamps: Terrific Toadstools
Ink: Basic Beige, Strawberry Slush, Secret Sea
Paper: Secret Sea, Strawberry Slush, Basic Beige, Mixed Up Patterns Designer Series Paper
Other: Antique Pearls
The fourth project is my favorite, only because I love this color combination the best. I came up with this color combo myself - Darling Duckling, Timid Tiger, and Granny Apple Green. You can't go wrong with Balloons for a nice birthday card! Pick your favorite three colors and re-create this one! This is a great design.
Paper Measurements:
- Timid Tiger: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
- Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4", for inside of card
- Basic White: 3 3/4" x 5"
- Darling Duckling/Timid Tiger/Granny Apple Green : (1 each) 1 1/2" x 3 1/2" + scraps to die-cut balloons
Finish with some Basic Rhinestones.
Stamps: Balloon Festoon bundle
Ink: Darling Duckling, Timid Tiger, Granny Apple Green
Paper: Darling Duckling, Timid Tiger, Granny Apple Green, Basic White
Other: White Baker's Twine, Basic Rhinestones
