I love how the cover of this mini album came together! I added some Lovely Doilies, and then piled some heart die-cuts and stickers on top. Finished with some sparkly gems. I can go with a Valentine theme or just a generic "I love you" theme for this book!
This album is 6" x 9", with a 2" spine. It should hold 35-40 pictures. The pages are all 5 3/4" x 8 1/2" (landscape orientation).

After I finished the Part 1 video in the previous week, I had the base album with all 7 pages glued on to the hinges. That's where I picked up this week. I finished the covers/spine, created an inside cover pocket, added dsp layers to the pages, created a tag and an altered paper clip, created some photo/journaling booklets, and then added some of the die-cuts and stickers throughout the book!
I'm going to give all of my cardstock/paper measurements for everything I created in this Part 2 Tutorial, and then some add some pictures.
CS - cardstock
TT - Two-Tone cardstock
Paper Measurements: These might not go in exactly the same order in the video, but it makes sense to list them this way.
- Album Front & Back Covers/Spine:
- Flirty Flamingo CS: (2) 5 7/8" x 8 3/4", (1) 1 3/4" x 5 7/8"
- DSP (same print for all pieces): (2) 5 5/8" x 8 1/2", (1) 1 1/2" x 5 5/8"
- Inside Cover Pockets: (same for front and back)
- Flirty Flamingo TT: (2) 3" x 9 3/4", scored at 1/2" on 3 sides
- DSP: (2) 2 1/4" x 8 1/2"
- Page Layers: All DSP, just pick 7 different patterns. PRIOR to this Part 2 video, I glued most of these page layers on to save time.
- (14) 5 1/2" x 8 1/4"
- Photo/Journaling Booklets:
- Willow White CS: (2) 6" x 10", scored at 5" (fold is at the top)
- Willow White CS: (2) 5" x 12", scored at 6" (fold is on the side)
- DSP #1: 4 3/4" x 5 3/4"
- DSP #2: 3 3/4" x 4 3/4"
- DSP #3: 2" x 4 3/4"
- Tag and Altered Paper clip:
- TT CS: 3 1/2" x 12", folded in half at 6", but then I cut it down to 5"
- DSP: anything from your scrap pile
Inside Front Cover with photo/journaling booklets tucked inside. I added just a few stickers to the pocket.
Photo booklets. Decorate however you want. You can put pictures or journaling on, and inside, of these booklets. The front and back pockets each have two booklets. Don't forget to add some gems!
First tag and altered paper clip. I used just tiny scraps of dsp to doll up that paper clip, added some gems and tied a little knot of Real Red Shiny ribbon on the edge.
