You guys...I have been wanting to make an "OY to the world" card for years. Years. For real. It's been on my list for that long, but I never had products that spoke to me. Now I've got these gigantic Party Alphabet dies and the Lights of Aurora papers...it was meant to be! Bonus: a recent Paper Pumpkin kit (Cozy Christmas) had "to the world" in the stamps, so that was really REALLY perfect.
These are my Week 11 Christmas Cards, and I can hardly believe that I've only got ONE more week left of my 12 Weeks of Christmas Cards series. I'm pretty happy that I've made it every week so far.
Let's talk about these cards - first of all, you'll want to pick some glimmer paper to die-cut your letters. I used the Blue and Gray from the Peaceful Gardens Glimmer pack.
Die-cut some mountains for the bottom of the card. I glued all of those flat onto the card front.
Paper Measurements:
- Secret Sea: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
- Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4", for inside of card
- Lights of Aurora DSP: 4 1/8" x 5 3/8", plus cut-off scraps
- Peaceful Gardens Glimmer Papers (blue and gray): 2 1/2" strip to die-cut letters
- Basic White: scraps to stamp/cut greeting
- Basic Black: scraps to die-cut mountains
I only made one card with the dark grey glimmer paper, but I do like it. I like them both.
I layered the greeting on the back-side of the dsp scrap. Pop that up.
Finish by gluing a bunch of Loose Snowflakes on each card. These Loose Snowflakes are much better suited for shaker cards..they're so tiny, but I made it work.

Ink: Blueberry Bushel
Paper: Secret Sea, Basic Black, Basic White, Peaceful Gardens Glimmer paper, Lights of Aurora Designer Series paper
Other: Light & Wonder dies, Party Alphabet dies, Loose Snowflakes
