I wanted to make a few more cards with this Ghastly Gourds background stamp (from Unity Stamp Co), so I did a few different colors. Some more traditional Halloween-y colors, and then PINK! I paired it with an old greeting.
Paper Measurements:
- Base (Pumpkin Pie/Mango Melody/Cajun Craze/Pretty in Pink): 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
- Designer Series Paper (same colors as above): 4 1/8" x 5 3/8"
- Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4", for inside of card
- Basic Black: 1 3/4" x 4 1/4"
- Basic White: 1 1/2" x 4 1/4"
- Basic White: scrap to stamp and hand-cut pumpkin
I like the larger piece of DSP gives a smaller border, so the background blends into the card base more. Then just add the greeting and a single pumpkin at the bottom.
I used some old Hexagon embellishments in Black, just to use them up.
