12 Weeks of Christmas Cards: Week 5

Welcome to Week 5 of my 12 Weeks of Christmas Cards!  I'm featuring the Silent Snowfall Specialty Paper this week.  This paper has an embossed snowflake pattern, which you can see where I've ink-blended the edges.

I brought in some old Foil Snowflakes for these cards.  Gold and Silver, which is also why I went with two different base colors.  Pink and silver.  Blue and gold.  I also used greetings from two different ephemera packs.

On the blue ones, I ink blended Balmy Blue ink on the greetings....and that was probably a mistake.  They're still going out like this, but I would have left them plain.

They definitely don't look good in the pictures...they're not that horrible in real life.

Paper Measurements:
  • Bubble Bath/Night of Navy:  5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
  • Basic White:  4" x 5 1/4", for inside of card
  • Silent Snowfall Specialty Designer Series Paper:  4" x 5 1/4"
  • All Season Velvet and Peaceful Gardens Glimmer papers:  scraps to die-cut small snowflakes
Finish with several rhinestones.
