Growing in Unity 2025 - Day 1

Guess what you guys?!  Unity had a last minute spot open up to be the "Growing in Unity Gal/Guy" for THIS week!  I really enjoyed my GIU time last year, but I didn't get a spot this year - so I was thrilled to be able to jump in and help!

I'll be sharing some more of my favorite Unity products this week, starting with a set that I just got in the mail TODAY.  This "One Crazy Bird" is so dang cute!

Stamp the bird and greeting on some white, and color in with alcohol markers.  Hand-cut both pieces.  I ripped the side edges of the greeting.  Covered the entire Crazy Bird and flower with Clear Wink of Stella.

Then I pulled the pink tile paper from one of Unity's packs, and stamped some flowers/stems/weeds at the bottom.  Layered that onto Basic Black, and then Bubble Bath.  

I did not realize until just now, in the middle of making my blog post, that the Grunge-y tag die that I used is no longer available.  I did get it from Unity, so it's in the list of supplies...but not for sale.  :(  Sorry about that!  I added a smaller layer of pink, embossed with a Exposed Brick folder...then I rubbed my Tuxedo Memento all over the raised parts to ink them up.  Layered my bird and greeting on there.  Tied some ribbons on, and popped the whole tag up.

Paper Measurements:

• Bubble Bath:  5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
• Basic White:  4" x 5 1/4", for inside of card
• Basic Black:  4" x 5 1/4"
• Love Kitties Patterned Paper (Pink tile print):  3 7/8" x 5 1/8"
• Basic Black: 2" x 3 1/2", cut with tag die
• Bubble Bath:  1 5/8" x 2 3/4", embossed with Brick folder
• Basic White:  scrap to stamp and hand-cut bird and greeting
