Welcome to my April 2025 Online Class featuring some adorable BEE products! This is a Stamp-a-Stack, so we are making (8) cards total; (4) designs, (2) of each design.
"Your Way" refers to how you want your class packet stacked with products. You can either get 1/4 pack of all the included products, 1/2 pack, or full pack. You'll get the 8 card kits cut, folded, and prepped for you with all three options.
You can also get NO packet, and just use my measurements below along with your own products to create these lovelies!

Now, let's get into the class projects....
Just a reminder that I am generally Live on-line every Thursday at 8:00pm ET. I stream to BOTH YouTube and Facebook simultaneously. NOTE: Facebook continues to behave poorly, so I recommend viewing on YouTube.
If you are not able to catch me live, you can watch over on YouTube. If the picture does not appear below, you can click HERE to get to it on YouTube.
First project is a Book Binding Card, which I absolutely love. You'll cute your own DSP for this one, and you can certainly flip these patterns if you want. The plaid is the back side of the bee print. You'll get a stitched hexagon piece to stamp your greeting. I stamped the wings on vellum for this one. You'll have a 1/2 sheet of vellum, and several 1/2 sheets of Basic White in your class packet to do all of your stamping/punching of bee parts.
I layer all of my dsp and white first, then tied the Petunia Pop ribbon around that left-side panel BEFORE glueing that panel closed to make the "book binding" part.
Paper Measurements:
- Petunia Pop: 4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2, 6 3/4"
- Basic White: (2) 4 1/8" x 4 1/8", one for inside
- Basic White: 1 1/8" x 4 1/8"
- Bee Cute DSP: 1" x 4", and 4" x 4"
- Basic White: hexagon shape die-cut
I popped the bee up, and finished with some In Color Shimmer Gems, which are in the Last Chance products right now. Add a couple of the Tiny Bee Trinkets.
Stamps: Bee My Valentine
Ink: Petunia Pop, Pool Party, Daffodil Delight, Tuxedo (Memento), Bubble Bath
Paper: Petunia Pop, Basic White, vellum, Cute as Can Bee Designer Series Paper
Other: Double-Stitched Hexagon dies (Scrap Diva Designs), Bee Builder punch, Petunia Pop 3/8" ribbon, In Color Shimmer Gems, Tiny Bee Trinkets
The second card is a fun SHAPED card, and my absolute favorite from this class! Cut two honeycombs for the front and back, and then add a hinge to join them together. Your hinge can be at the very top, or to the left at a jaunty angle like I did. Glue your hinge in first, then add in your layers to the front and inside.
Paper Measurements:
- Daffodil Delight: (2) 4 1/2" x 5", cut with hexagon die. This depends on the dies you are using!
- Daffodil Delight: 2 1/4" x 3/4", scored at 3/8". This is the hinge.
- Basic White: 4" x 4 1/2", cut with hexagon die.
- Cute as Can Bee DSP (honey pot print): 4" x 4 1/2", cut with hexagon die.
- Basic White: scrap to stamp greeting and bee
Card opened. See how my white layer covers up a tiny part of the hinge? That's why you want to glue the hinge on first.
Finish with a little knot of Petunia Pop ribbon, and pop a bee up.
Stamps: Bee My Valentine
Ink: Daffodil Delight, Tuxedo (Memento), Petunia Pop, Balmy Blue
Paper: Daffodil Delight, Basic White, Bee Cute Designer Series paper
Other: Bee Builder punch, Stitched Hexagon dies (Scrap Diva Designs), Glossy Dots (Daffodil), Petunia Pop 3/8" ribbon
Third card uses some of the Pool Party Two-Tone cardstock. The Two-Tone cardstocks have a white core, which is good for embossing then sanding a little bit so the white shows through. I'm using an older SU Hexagon embossing folder...I can't even remember how many years ago I got this one. It's not a 3-D folder.
Another thing about the Two-Tone cardstock is that one side is darker, and one is lighter...hence the name, Two-Tone. This is the LIGHT side. It matches more closely with the Pool Party card base.
I've got two white hexagon shapes on this card that I stamped the greeting and flowers in. Again, I've used my Bee My Valentine stamp set, but you can use whatever you have.
Paper Measurements:
- Pool Party: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
- Pool Party Two-Tone: 4" x 5 1/4", embossed with the Hexagon folder (retired)
- Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4" for inside
- Basic White: (2) hexagon die-cuts
- Pool Party Two-Tone: left-over strip, from when I cut the larger piece.
I finished with some Tiny Bee Trinkets and Party Dots (Pool Party).
Stamps: Friends for Life, Bee My Valentine
Ink: Pool Party, Old Olive, Bubble Bath, Petunia Pop
Paper: Pool Party, Basic White, Meant to Bee Two-Tone (Pool Party)
Other: Hexagon embossing folder (retired), Stitched Hexagon dies (Scrap Diva Designs), Party Dots, Tiny Bee Trinkets
Paper Measurements:
- Petunia Pop: 7" x 10", scored at 5"
- Basic White: 4 3/4" x 6 3/4", for inside of card
- Bubble Bath: 4 3/4" x 6 3/4"
- Petunia Pop: 4" x 6"
- Cute as Can Bee DSP (4 different prints): 2" x 3" Pay attention to the direction of patterns
- Petunia Pop: 3 1/4" x 4 1/4"
- Bubble Bath: 3" x 4", embossed with Distressed Tile folder
- Petunia Pop/Bubble Bath: scraps to die-cut "friend"
- Basic White: scraps to stamp/punch bee and greeting
Finished with In Color Shimmer Gems and Tiny Bee Trinket.
Stamps: Friends for Life, Bee My Valentine
Ink: Daffodil Delight, Tuxedo (Memento), Pool Party, Petunia Pop
Paper: Petunia Pop, Bubble Bath, Basic White, Cute as Can Bee Designer series paper
Other: Friends for Life dies, Distressed Tile embossing folder, Bee Builder Punch, Petunia Pop 3/8" ribbon, In Color Shimmer Gems, Tiny Bee Trinkets
BONUS Project: A Box in a Bag using an entire piece of 6" x 12" Cute as Can Bee DSP. The box inside is made out of Petunia Pop. Tag is made using some of the Old Olive Two-Tone cardstock from the Meant to Bee pack. I embossed the smaller hexagon with the same hexagon folder I used earlier.
Petunia Pop handles are punched with the Keeping Tabs punch.
Paper Measurements:
- Petunia Pop: 4 1/2" x 5 1/4", scored at 1" on all 4 sides.
- Cute as Can Bee DSP: 6" x 12", again make sure the pattern is going the right way
- Old Olive Two-Tone: scraps to die-cut hexagons
- Basic White: scraps to stamp/punch bee
Tie the bag closed with some Petunia Pop ribbon, and attach tag with some Linen Thread.
