During Stampin’ Up! Day of Service, Stampin’ Up! employees worldwide will get involved in an act of service within their local communities. This year, Stampin’ Up! Day of Service is on 22 September 2022. We are focusing our efforts as a community to help fight hunger and food insecurity in our communities, and we want you to join us!
Ways You Can Make a Difference in Your Community:
- Donate food items to a local food bank.
- Volunteer your time at a local food bank, soup kitchen, or food insecurity organization.
- Sign up with a local organization to deliver meals to those in need.
- Organize a food drive or fundraiser for a food insecurity organization.
- Help set up or assist at a community organization.
Join Stampin’ Up! in Supporting Five.12:
You’re also invited to join Stampin' Up! in supporting Five.12. Five.12 provides bags of food to students in need through a program called “Weekend Backpacks.” Stampin' Up! is planning to pack more than 2,500 backpacks, but we think we can do even more. If you’d like to make an impact with the Stampin’ Up! community, you can donate a backpack by going to five12.org and clicking the “Donate” button at the top of the page. For every $5 USD donated, Stampin’ Up! employees will pack another backpack for a student in need. Donations will be accepted towards this project through 6 September 2022.
So what am I personally doing to help make a difference? I'm going to donate $5.00 from every Nourish and Flourish Kit purchased through me by September 6th to the Five.12 organization! I will also host a Crafty afternoon on Zoom, on Sunday 9/18 at 1:00pm ET. Everyone is invited - I figured this would be the perfect time for everyone to work on their kits. Who knows - I may come up with some alternates for the cards - add a little bit of stamping or doo-dads.
This is a great kit to give to a non-stamper, or to work on with kids and grandkids. There is no stamping involved. The kit makes 9 cards, with envelopes, and has all of the pre-printed pieces AND adhesive!! You don't need ANYTHING to make these cards! It also comes in a stylish insulated lunch bag.
