The fun and ideas continue as the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers are celebrating TWO years of challenges and card making! We have a few challenges (with prizes) this week, which you will find on the Facebook Group.
Challenges are:
- Non-Traditional Christmas Colors
- Show us a picture of your Christmas Card Stash
- Anything Goes Christmas Card
- Anything But a Card Christmas Project
This entry is for the Anything Goes Christmas Card. I used one of Angie Blom's Digital images - Smitten Mitten. Printed a whole page of these layers on Basic White cardstock (regular), on my laser printer.
I used a clear block smashed into my ink pad to make a palette. Use that to watercolor with an aqua painter/water brush. I only used two colors - Fresh Freesia and Starry Sky.
Paper Measurements:
- Starry Sky: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
- Fresh Freesia: 4" x 5 1/4"
- Digital print image: 3 13/16" x 5 1/16"
- Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4" (for inside of the card)
After I did all the watercoloring, I did have to let it dry for a bit, then I stamped the greeting in the middle.
Finished off with a bunch of rhinestones.
