ToniStamps: December 2021 Online Camp - Part 2 of 2

Hi Crafty Friends!

I apologize for not getting this section bit of my December class posted earlier, but it's been a busy week. For the second day of camp, I made a Mini Scrapook/Journal/Recipe Book...whatever you want to call it, and some Christmas Tags!

Everything that I used to make these projects came from the (4) items listed below. You may not have noticed, but I did NOT do ANY stamping on any of the projects for this class! If you have the Frosted Gingerbread Bundle - GREAT! You can stamp your cookies in any color/paper that you want. I cut all of my pieces out of the Gingerbread & Peppermint Designer Series Paper.

First project of Day 2 was the 2-Ring Mini Album! I'm calling this a bunch of different things - Mini Album, Mini Scrapbook, Recipe Book, Junk Journal, Journal...because you can use this any way that you want. I like to have the best of everything - room for some pictures, room for some journaling, and some stuff that's just nice to look at. That's me! You can customize this to suit YOUR needs.

Here's a look at the front cover. The album pages are 4 1/4" x 6 1/4". Again - no stamping. I tarted it up using elements from the Gingerbread & Peppermind Memories and More Card Pack, along with some cookies cut out from the Designer series paper.

You'll need to start by cutting your pages. This diagram will help you - I got (1) pocket page, (1) flat page, and (1) tag from a single sheet of Real Red 8 1/2" x 11" cardstock. All of my base pages are Real Red. That means my finished book has (10) pages total...(5) flat, and (5) pockets. Save the tag pieces for our next project...

I'm not going to show you every single page (I do a flip through of the album at the start of THIS video), but I do want to show you a couple of things.

The Memories & More Card pack comes with (6) of these Recipe cards. Use them all, use only a few, or only use one...it's up to you.

This picture shows a SIDE-pocket page. You can make your pocket pages be either top-loading, or side-loading, depending on where you apply your glue. Again, watch the video for those bits. I made (3) top-loading pocket pages, and (2) side-loading pocket pages.

I also cut up some of the various 3" x 4" cards and made tuck spots - there are more than this, but you get the idea.

I'm excited to hunt through my pictures to find the perfect ones to add to my mini book!

The next project for Camp is the Christmas Tags. Again, using the base tags that were cut from the Real Red cardstock, I added designer series papers, and bits from the Memories & More Card Pack to make these tags. Use the Real Red Ruffled ribbon, along with any others that you have in your stash!

I made (5) tags. Pop up different bits, and add some gems!
