How sweet are these bees? The idea for this card started with a few pieces of hexagon-shaped gold foil left over from the Expressions in Ink Ephemera pack.
I thought I had an old honeycomb embossing folder - I just had to find it! I embossed a piece of Basic White with it, and then used my Bumblebee ink spot from a Paper Pumpkin kit to rub the ink across the raised up bits. This is called the direct-to-paper technique. Depending on how hard you press, you get more color on your paper.
Then I embossed the 2 foil hexagons with the same honeycomb folder and glued those down, along with an outline left over. Popped the greeting up, and glued down three of these cute Bee charms!
I wish I had some cute saying with “Bee” in it, but I don’t. It’ll do, though!
