{BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 13 - Pinecones

Happy Monday Crafty Peeps!

I've got another Mini Slimline idea to share with you.  For the month of August, I'm using the fun Mini Slimline {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 13.  This time, I'm using a very old Stampin' Up set, Definitely Decorative Pinecones, along with a greeting from Unity.

This Mini Slimline card measures 3" x 6" finished.  I've embossed the layer of Cinnamon Cider with a new Timber embossing folder.  I really like a tone-on-tone embossed layer for cards.  

I had a small piece of the Sweet Symmetry designer series paper, and I stamped some of the pine needles directly on it, in Just Jade ink.  Again - there's that tone-on-tone thing.

Stamp some pinecones and hand-cut them.  They are glued together, and then popped up on top of the layered circles.

Stamp the greeting, and rip the top and bottom edges before popping it up.

Finish off with some Enamel Dots, and a little bow tied with Linen Thread.

Stamps:  DD Pinecones, Glad Tidings (Unity Stamp Co)

Paper: Cinnamon Cider, Just Jade, Very Vanilla, Sweet Symmetry designer series papers

Other:  2 1/2" and 2 1/4" circle punches, Timber embossing folder, In Color Enamel Dots
