Happy 100th Birthday!

 

My mom asked me to make a card for one of her friends, so I came up with this one.  For some reason, the gold embossing and the So Saffron of some of the flowers are looking very much alike on my screen.  Yikes!

 

This slim line card is 3 1/2" x 8 1/2".  Cut your Highland Heather card base 7" x 8 1/2", and then score in half at 3 1/2".  

 

I used the Beautiful Friendship set to add flowers in Highland Heather, So Saffron, Pink Pirouette, and Soft Seafoam.   

Notice that I gold-embossed the greeting and then cut it out with one of the ovals from the Stitched Shapes dies.  I added a scalloped oval of vellum behind that.  

 

Wink of Stella on some of the flowers, and a few Basic Pearls finish it off.

Ink:  Highland Heather, So Saffron, Pink Pirouette, Soft Seafoam, Versamark

Paper: Highland Heather, Purple Posy, Whisper White, vellum

Other:  Stitched Shapes dies, Layering Ovals dies, Large Numbers dies, Forever Greenery combo trim, gold embossing powder, Clear Wink of Stella pen, Basic Pearls
