I made this slimline Valentine for a swap. I wanted to use some heart doilies that I THOUGHT I had from last year, but I can't find them. Good thing I found this More Amore paper pack that had a 12x12 sheet of doilies. I just had to cut them apart.
Card base is 3 1/2" x 8 1/2". Cut your card stock 7" x 8 1/2", and score in half at 3 1/2".
As luck would have it, the heart stamp that came in my January Paper Pumpkin kit fit perfecctly inside the heart doily.
I stamped and hand-cut the "hello friend" from Seriously the Best. Then I brought out old faithful - Teeny Tiny Wishes - for the Happy Valentine's Day. I punched that out with the Classic Label punch, but the Word Window punch is also a perfect fit.
Tack down some Blushing Bride Pleated Satin ribbon and Victorian Crochet trim...add the heart and words all popped up. Finish with some pink gems - I don't know where I got them, or who makes them. I found a bag full in my stash, with no labels. :(
Since I had half a pack of that More Amore papers, I made the envelope too!
I hope my Slimline Valentine swap partner likes it!
