Unity Advent Stamp Calendar - Days 1 and 2

I'm sure it's no secret that I'm a fan of Unity Stamp Company.  I love their images and red rubber.  I was lucky enough to get one of their limited edition Advent Calendars this year - they sell out pretty quick.  It's pretty cool -  a little treat every day!

You may have noticed that I opened ALL of my days up already!  I can't stand to wait, but I'm not going to spoil it for everyone else.    I'm trying to make something every day, with whatever stamp the calendar reveals for that day.  I am not going to guarantee that I'll post every day, but at least every few days.

Day 1 project was a tag using the cute little gingerbread man!  The plaid papers were a plaid pack, also from Unity Stamp Co.  Other color is Cinnamon Cider.  Cinnamon Cider and Embroidered ribbons for the tie-on.  The greeting is from a different Unity Stamp set, All Kinds of Holiday Love (Sep 2019, Kit of the Month).

I added some oval dies, and embossed the Crumb cake piece.  Then I swiped my Versamark ink pad across the raised up bits, and embossed with gold powder.

Holiday Rhinestones finish off these little Gingers!

Day 2 project is a card with some holly leaves and a jingle bell, just to make it FUN!   I had the Real Red embossed layer left over from some Christmas cards, so I used that.  Embossed the little NOEL with sparkly silver embossing powder, and layered some circle punches.

The holly leaves are die-cut from Plush Poinsettia specialty papers, and then I used a green bell as the berry.  Tie some silver cord through and make a double bow.

Finished off with some rhinestones.

 

 

I'm so glad that I was able to score one of these Advent Calendars.  Can't wait to share the next 22 projects...fair warning, I may combine multiple "days" into the same project.  We'll see...
