I got these fun mason jar tags from my mom. No idea where she got them, or even how long she's had them, but I put them to good use. Thanks again Mom! I thought the color looked similar to something that I already had - Poppy Parade is very close, so I went with it!
These really are a fairly large size tag, with plenty of room to emboss some different greetings. I brought out an old favorite set - Everyday Expressions. I like the whimsical font, and sayings.
Close-up of one of the cards. You can see that I used an old background stamp - Flannel Plaid. This is Poppy Parade ink, on Crumb Cake card stock. I embossed the greeting in gold, and tied a fairly loopy bow with the Embroidered Ribbon (from the Holiday mini catalog).
I thought this rooster would add to the country vibe that I got from the mason jars, so I stamped him on Very Vanilla, and colored with just a few markers. Hand-cut, and popped him up on the card. Finished with some Gold Glitter Enamel Dots.
It's interesting what we find when we decide to clean out drawers or closets. I always find things I totally forgot about! Glad my mom found these!
