Gather Together with Plaid Tidings projects

Ready for some fall projects?  I've got so many different sets with leaves in them, and I aim to give them all some love this season!

Yesterday, I demonstrated a few projects using the Gather Together stamp set and dies.

Just a reminder that I go Live on my Facebook Page every Thursday at 11:00am ET.

If you didn't catch me live, you can view it here on Facebook, or on YouTube.  If the picture below does not appear, you can click HERE to get to it.

All project measurements are listed in the video description on YouTube.

All of the projects are using the Gather Together stamps and dies, along with the Plaid Tidings 6" x 6" designer series paper pack.

For the first project, my intention was to show how to use an entire sheet of 6" x 6" designer series paper to make a card, and decorate the inside of the card and the envelope flap.  Cut your designer series paper at 3 7/8" first.  Then cut the end of that off at 5 1/8".  This gives you the largest layering piece.  That little strip that you have left - 3 7/8" x 7/8"?  Put that on the inside of your finished card, near the bottom.  The larger scrap goes on your envelope flap!

For the rest of the card, I embossed a 2 1/2" circle with the Wrapped in Texture and Hammered Metal embossing folders.  Then stamp and layer some of the different leaves from the Gather Together set.  I gold-embossed the large leaf on this top card, because I didn't think the tone-on-tone would show up as well as it did on the Cajun Craze card below.

Tie a bow with the Braided Linen Trim, and add some gems - Gilded Gems on the top card, Gold Glitter Enamel Dots on the bottom.

Colors:  Cajun Craze, Pretty Peacock, Mango Melody, Blackberry Bliss
Other:  Gold embossing powder,  Hammered Metal & Wrapped in Texture embossing folders, 2 1/2" circle punch, 3/8" Braided Linen trim, Gold Glitter Enamel Dots, Gilded Gems

The second project was a box.  The lid is a full 6" x 6" piece of the Plaid Tidings paper.  Score at 1" on all (4) sides.  Bottom is Misty Moonlight, 7 7/16" x 7 7/16".  Score at 1 3/4" on all (4) sides.

Tag is 2" wide, Seaside Spray, ripped bottom edge.  Stamp and die cut the largest leaf, and pop up on the tag.   Added one little rhinestone to it.  Sponge the edges of the leaf with Misty Moonlight.

Stamps: Itty Bitty Birthday
Other:  3/8" Braided Linen Trim, Basic Rhinestones

Last is a mini card that will fit INSIDE the gift box.  It is 3 1/2" square.  Stamp some of the wheat in Versamark on Seaside Spray.  Stamp and die cut largest leaf in Misty Moonlight.  Cut some of the embossed leaves out of Seside Spray.  Greeting is hand-cut.  Finish with two rhinestones, and a little knot of that same Braided Linen trim.

Stamps:  Itty Bitty Birthday
Other: 3/8" Braided Linen Trim, Basic Rhinestones.
