Happy Anniversary - Card & Box

My anniversary is coming up - like in another 90 minutes... so I whipped this up tonight for Hubby.  It's a 4 1/4" square card, that fits inside the 5 1/2" square box that I made to hold a little box of heart-shaped candies for him. 

I didn't have any stamps that said "You & Me", so I thought about dies.  The YOU is from the Celebrate You dies, and the "me" is actually from a Catherine Pooler die that spells "awesome".  I just cut the "me" off the end.  You might want to look through your word dies now, and see what other words you can come up with out of them!

I stamped "Happy Anniversary" from the To Have & To Hold stamp set, in Mossy Meadow on a strip of Whisper White.  Layered that onto a strip of Gold Foil.   I cut the & sign out of the same gold foil, with the retired Little Letters dies.  I'm glad I kept those things around!

Here is the gift box - Box bottom is Mossy Meadow card stock.  The top is made out of a piece from the Floral Romance designer series paper pack. 

The bottom of the box is 8 7/16" x 8 7/16" square.  (That's a smidge under 8 1/2" x 8 1/2").  Score all sides at 1 1/2". 

The top of the box is 7 1/2" x 7 1/2".  Score all sides at 1".

Here is my standard picture to show how I cut and assemble these box pieces. 

For the tag, I punched the a piece of Mossy Meadow out with the Pretty Label punch, and embossed it with the Layered Leaves embossing folder.  Then stamp "Happy Anniversary", from Teeny Tiny Wishes, on a scrap of Crumb Cake, with Mossy Meadow ink.  Punch out with the Classic Label punch, and pop up with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.

Tag is tied on with Very Vanilla Baker's Twine, and 3/8" Taffeta ribbon.
