Love You a Lot

Whoa!  Lovely Lipstick and Melon Mambo together - it's a great combination, especially with this Lovely Lipstick FOIL.  This heart reminds me of a box of chocolates, with the fancy foil and bow on it. 

I cut the Lovely Lipstick Foil (available only as a Sale-a-Bration item), out with the largest heart from the Be Mine Stitched dies (also available as part of the Meant to Be bundle).  This particular die actually makes two cuts - the large solid heart, and the scalloped frame piece.  I took the large solid heart piece and embossed it with the Swirls & Curls embossing folder.  I love that texture!

I glued the scalloped heart frame directly on the Melon Mambo layer, which I embossed with the new Lace Dynamic embossing folder.  Then I popped the embossed heart in the center of that, with two layers of Stampin' Dimensionals.  This is what the back of that heart looks like -

I stamped the greeting from the To Have and To Hold stamp set, and punched out with an older heart punch...just because it fit, and I wanted to mix it up.  I also colored the Heart Epoxy Droplets with Melon Mambo Blends marker....this picture makes me see that I didn't do that great of a job coloring them. :(

They don't look bad ON the card though - and they do show up against the Melon Mambo background better than if I left them clear.

I hope you LOVE this Love You a Lot card!  Don't like pink?  Switch it up to Red foil and Basic Black.  That would be striking!  Even more formal - go with Gold or Champagne foil and Basic Black.  oh, the possibilities...!
