First, I embossed the Lemon Lime Twist layer with the Layered Leaves embossing folder. I roughed up the edges with my fingernails and a bone folder. I wanted it scrunched up around the edges. Mounted that on the Berry Burst card base, and then stuck down the two scraps of designer paper on top, at angles. That was my base. Then came the greeting layered with the ribbon and leaf punches.
I still had the Warm Regards stamp set out, so I used that. Again, I stamped on a scrap, and punched....this time with 1 3/4" circle punch. Then I punched the other layers - Lemon Lime Twist (2 1/4" circle), and Berry Burst (2 1/2" circle). I embossed the Berry Burst circle with the new Subtle embossing folder. I don't know that any of my pictures are picking it up, but it's there.
Do the leafs seem darker to you? It's because they are. I punched them out of the Lemon Lime Twist card stock, and then smashed the ink pad directly on top of them. They were still very wet when I attached them here. Even after they dried completely, they are darker - which is what I wanted.
I tacked down some ribbon, then added the layered greeting/circles on top. It's all VERY dimensional. I finished off with the flowers, and a few rhinestones.
I hope you all love it as much as I do!
