Ready for another packaging idea? We're on Day 19 of my 25 Days of Christmas 2017 ideas, and I'm sharing a box made from the Window Box Thinlits. First thing - if you have these dies and have not used them, you should watch the video on how to put the box together FIRST FIRST FIRST. Here's a link to the Stampin' Up video, to save you the time. Watch it! :) Let's just say, I did NOT watch the video first, and my box was probably more difficult to put together than it should have been. Lesson learned.
Now, on to my CUTE BOX!
Adorable! I wanted to use the Foil Frenzy designer series paper because it's a heavyweight kraft paper with foil designs. I thought it would be sturdier.
After making the box, I tied my ribbon around, and then thought about what to put on top. Something different from what I've been using this past week. Eskimo! I stamped her in Basic Black Archival, then punched out all my other pieces while I let that sit for a few minutes.
The base that my Eskimo girl is perched on is made with the 2 1/4" circle punch (Soft Sky), Starburst punch (Whisper White), and 2" circle punch (Soft Sky). I just layered them one on top of the other with tape. I did use liquid glue to attach that to the top of the box.
Colored and punched out my Eskimo, and then ran her through some Dazzling Diamonds glitter. Popped her on top of the box with some dimensionals.
